Paranoia

So there I was sitting in the bath, about to get out, when a wave of paranoia overcame me and I thought "Oh, I hope the lifting me up device still works" Like it has for a number of years now with IIRC no incident at all.

Walking is so much easier

So today I walked along by the table to open the curtain which we had to close earlier when the sun was shining in

It is so much easier nowadays, no holding on, no walking stick

Today I walked there, back, thought "Wanna photo, that was so easy", had to walk there again, took a photo then eventually walked back to my chair

Reading In Bed

Well as a child I used to read in bed every night, sometimes for a couple of hours. As me and books no longer get on I had to stop. But today I took my Kindle to bed with me when I was napping. Yes, I can read it lying down but my hand which was holding it got tired and after about 10 mins I had to stop reading

But it was the first time I have read lying in bed for some years

Shop, shop, shopping

We nipped to Morrison's s'morning to get more salad, I had run out a day early and while we were in there I thought "Ah, but salad was the only reason I was expecting to be shopping tomorrow, I may as well get the whole weeks shopping"

And it was pouring with rain before we left, it stopped, just raining lightly, we went, came back, no rain at all. I ate lunch and it is now pouring again

And after it stopped raining I opened the back door of the house, stood up, picked up my walking stick, went out the back, down the steps, walked to car, put the shopping bag back in't glove box, walked back to door, up steps and back in

Tea

And I made the now usual Friday pizza and chips for tea tonight.

For a few weeks pizza has contained crushed garlic. 

It was just as nice as we expected

THEN

Then we went off to gym, to a proper class there. And Sam was better, so she was back taking the class again. It went well, I can see doing eg balancing on one foot how much better my balance is getting.

Aardvark-ing

So we went to Aardvark s'morning and got the most of my weeks shopping. And a few extras to put in the freezer as it is snowy ATM.

Burst Of Sneezing

So I was sat at the breakfast table, finished my breakfast, suddenly sneezed, big style. Then again, got a second tissue out, sneezed again, for a few mins then it just stopped

Then tonight I made it to the first open mike night I have made it to since the new owners took over.

It was good, we had a delicious vegetarian dinner and a few pints of Organic Ale....

Weather

So I was sitting at the kitchen table at lunchtime, I spent 5 minutes concentrating on my iPad then looked up, it looked like there had been an enormous snow storm. Actually it was a shower of hail that made everything look white, but 5 minutes later it had gone again.

Speed Test

And at the end of the road "someone" is fitting faster broadband devices, they are coming up the main road a few yards away from my house but it will be a month or so before it is connected. But my connection is still well faster than the wire pre broadband connection

Meet Teaming

So everyone (except those with courses in the way etc) are coming here tomorrow morning for a Team Meeting so they can slag me off to Denyse etc.

I have been told I can go but don't think so, I have written a piece with my queries and printed it s'evening

Reading Stand

So I was telling someone how I can read with my Kindle on the table in front of me, he said "They sell book stands", I said "Yes, my iPad is in one of those", so took my iPad out and tried my Kindle

Twice In Two Days

So "we" (me and GGtGG) are heading over for my second swimming session in two days in a bit.

We went yesterday too-f*cking-oooo

"Excuses, excuses, excuses". No can't think of one that will work......

(sigh) Well we went and it actually wasn't too bad, we walked, did my exercises, swam etc, then left

Rain/Loo

I was walking to the loo s'morning, looked out the window and thought "Look's nice....", sat down, went to the loo, came out and looked out window again at a really heavy rain shower which had come from nowhere, 5 minutes later it is dry once more

Half an hour later and the sun is shining....

Rain and my bottom must be related somehow...

Fredumpkin

And Freya txted me s'afternoon and said "Aargh, I've caught the bus home, forgot where I was going, can u pick me up at....pm" so we did, went shopping for more shampoo for the swimming pool then went over and got her. It was strange, gave her the Christmas presie that we missed on Christmas, didn't give it to her last time she was here cos I knew Toby would be a bit jealous and mmmm, she was well pleased with it
